DAY 1: UK to Champagne area We travel from Dover to Calais and on to our
overnight hotel in the Champagne area.

7: Alsace to N. France We commence
our homeward journey stopping in Epernay, then on to Northern
France for dinner at our overnight hotel. (B,D)
DAY 2: Champagne area to Alsace We travel
via Reims, then on to the village of Klingenthal for our five
night stay. (B,D)

to UK From
Calais to Dover and then home. (B)
DAYS 3 to 6: Alsace At leisure in Alsace, a region rich in history and
tradition, with a timeless charm and beauty
which cannot fail to impress. During our stay we
enjoy three included excursions to Alsace and
the nearby Black Forest. (B,D)

Day Strasbourg & Baden-Baden We enjoy
a trip to Strasbourg where you can explore the historic old
town, with its narrow streets, famous pink cathedral, Gutenberg
Square and the quaint timber-framed houses of ‘Petite
France’. We then travel into Germany to visit the attractive
spa town of Baden-Baden.’
Full Day along the Alsace wine route We enjoy
a scenic drive along part of the famous ‘Route des Vins’,
passing through pretty villages with narrow streets of flower-decked,
halftimbered houses. Along the way we visit picturesque Gertwiller,
Ribeauvillé and Zellenberg, where we tour a local wine cellar
with an included tasting.
Half Day Colmar A visit
to the picturesque town of Colmar, renowned for its half-timbered
gabled houses and the pretty old town, cut through by the
river Lauch, is known as ‘La Petite Venise’.

Klingenthal
Surrounded by its own
large garden, the Hotel Les Vosges has a lovely, peaceful
