DAY 1: UK to Reims Dover, Calais and then on to our overnight hotel. |
DAY 10: Sorrento
to Rome A drive to the Eternal City and a chance to explore some of the amazing iconic sights focusing on the Vatican City there is much to be discovered. Our overnight hotel, the 4* Hotel Nova Domus, is ideally located in the heart of this magical city. (B,D) |
DAY 2: Northern France to Lake Lucerne A drive through France into Switzerland to arrive at our overnight hotel 3*, on the shores of the beautiful Lake Lucerne. (B,D) |
DAY 11: Rome to Genoa Continuing north along the scenic coastal road for a night in the area of Genoa. (B,D) |
DAY 3: Lake Lucerne to Canarra We travel into Italy, through lovely Tuscan and Umbrian countryside to our overnight hotel in Cannara, the Hotel Hortensis 3*. (B,D) |
DAY 12: Genoa to Annecy area
Crossing the border, we head to the beautiful Alsace region of France and Annecy for our overnight stop in the Annecy area. (B,D) |
DAY 4: Canarra to Sorrento Travelling through more of the picturesque Umbrian scenery we reach the resort of Sorrento for six nights at the centrally located Hotel Cesare Augusto 4*. (B,D) |
DAY 13: Annecy area to Paris A drive to reach the French capital for the evening, which is surely the perfect time for exploring this romantic city. Dinner is not included tonight so that you can take the opportunity to sample some of the cuisine for which Paris is renowned. We then head to our overnight hotel on the outskirts of the city. (B) |
DAYS 5 to 9: Sorrento The bustling resort of Sorrento is one of Italy’s best holiday resorts, with its narrow winding alleyways, relaxed atmosphere and fantastic shopping, all close to the sea. The Marina Grande area is ideal for a stroll and you’ll definitely want to try a limoncello, the local lemon liqueur, as you soak up the Mediterranean sunshine. (B,D) |
