DAY 1:
UK to Naaldwijk To Dover
for the ferry crossing to Calais, then into Holland for
a late arrival at the Highland Carlton Hotel in Naaldwijk.
DAY 5:
Naaldwijk to UK After
an early breakfast, we travel back through Holland and Belgium
to Calais for the sailing to Dover and then home. (B)
DAY 2 to 4: Naaldwijk At leisure in Naaldwijk. Enjoy our two included
excursions to the attractive town of Delft and
The Hague, with a mixture of modern and
historic architecture. We visit bustling
Amsterdam, where you can explore this exciting
capital city on your own, visit one of the famous
museums or join an optional canal cruise. Our
other optional excursion explores Dordrecht,
one of Holland’s oldest towns; and Kinderdijk, a
village of windmills. (B,D)

Day Delft & the Hague We visit Delft, famous for its blue and white
pottery, with a labyrinth of canals, fairy-tale
shaped bridges and beautiful painted gables.
The Hague is home of the Dutch Royal Family
and site of the International Court of Justice, in
the famous Peace Palace.

Day Amsterdam We enjoy the chance to explore the dazzling
capital, with its tree-lined canals crossed by
pretty humpbacked-bridges, cobbled streets
lined with stately merchant houses and colourful
flower market. The city boasts a world-class
collection of museums including the Van Gogh
Museum and Rijksmuseum. It is forever bustling
with its tramways and infamous bicycles.
Despite being a major capital city it is compact
enough to comfortably walk between the major
attractions.
