Black Forest & Lake Constance - Holiday Itinerary
DAY 1: UK to Reims
To Calais and on into Northern France for our first night on the Continent.		 DAY 6: Bräunlingen to N. France
We retrace our steps to Northern France for an overnight stay. (B,D)
DAY 2: N. France to Bräunlingen
Southwards into Germany and on to Bräunlingen in the Black Forest for our four night stay. (B,D)		 DAY 7: N. France to UK
To Calais where we take the ferry to Dover and home. (B)
DAYS 3 to 5: Bräunlingen
At leisure in Bräunlingen, a traditional Black Forest town and an ideal base for discovering the region. For your enjoyment we have included two scenic excursions. (B,D)
Included Excursions
Full Day: Lake Constance and Rhine Falls
Lake Constance, also known as the Bodensee, enjoys a mild climate and plentinful sunshine, its hillsides covered with vineyards and orchards. The lake is shared by Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and is one of Germany’s most beautiful locations. Our day on the lake includes a visit to the medieval town of Konstanz, then on to the majestic ‘Rhine Falls’ at Schaffhausen.
Full Day: Black Forest Tour
Our scenic Black Forest tour features the popular lakeside holiday resort of Titisee and the charming town of Furtwangen. We also visit the health resort of Triberg, home of the Schwarzwald Museum and a centre for the production of the famous Black Forest cuckoo clock.
