DAY 1:
UK to Bruges We travel
to Dover and take the sailing to Calais, then into Belgium
and on to Bruges for our four night stay.
DAY 5:
Bruges to UK After
breakfast we travel back to Calais for the ferry to Dover
and home. (B)
DAY 2 to 4: Bruges At leisure
in Bruges. There are bars, cafés and restaurants
galore opening onto delightful squares in true cosmopolitan
fashion. The peaceful Beguinage and the Lake of Love are
perfect places to spend a quiet moment. Our included minibus
tour will allow you to get your bearings and introduce you
to some of the many sights. Additionally you can discover
the best of Belgium cities on our two second included excursion
to Brussels and Antwerp. After that you are free to explore
further or join our optional excursions to Ghent, known
as the historic heart of Flanders and Ypres, scene of World

minibus tour around Bruges, which is considered to be one
of the most perfectly preserved medieval cities in Europe.
Appreciate its delights from trip on the treelined canals,
crossed by humpback bridges, or from the comfort of a horse-drawn
carriage passing through cobbled streets and alleys lined
with gabled houses. There are bars, cafés and restaurants
galore opening onto delightful squares.

Day to Brussels & Antwerp We visit cosmopolitan Brussels with
its impressive Grand Place, considered to be one of the most
beautiful squares in Europe. The Manneken-Pis statue is a
unique attraction. Antwerp is known as the world capital of
diamonds boasting a rich cultural past. It is also the home
of the famous artist Rubens, whose many works can be found
in the city, including the impressive cathedral with its slender
lacework spire.
