The Winter Wonders festival runs over the New Year period giving the magnificent squares of Brussels a special atmosphere with colourful decorations. Over 200 Christmas market stalls dotted around the Place Sainte Catherine, Fish Market and the Bourse sell all kinds of handicrafts and hot food and drinks to warm you up, and rides and events for all the family.

On New Year's Day you will have a further day at leisure with an optional three-course meal at the award-winning Chez Leon restaurant in central Brussels – a fantastic place to sample traditional Belgian cuisine.

During the return journey, we visit the medieval city of Bruges – known as the 'Venice of the North' because of its network of picturesque canals and bridges.

DAY 1: Brussels
Journey to your hotel.

DAY 2: Brussels (New Year's Eve)
Included coach transfer into central Brussels to shop and sightsee during the day. Optional half day city tour with guide. In the evening enjoy the New Year's celebrations before your return transfer to the hotel at 1am.

DAY 3: Brussels (New Year's Day)

Included late morning coach transfers into Brussels for a further day at leisure. Optional early evening dinner at the traditional Chez Leon restaurant.

DAY 4: Bruges/Home
Depart from the hotel after breakfast for an included visit to medieval Bruges before continuing your journey home.
