Local departure by coach then onwards to our hotel on the outskirts of Cologne for a four-night stay. D

Enjoy a relaxing day in Cologne with its cobbled squares, famous cathedral and spectacular riverside setting. B,D

CHRISTMAS DAY: Monschau (included)
Enjoy a morning, scenic drive through the Eifel National Park, to the idyllic old town of Monschau with its half timbered buildings. We return to our hotel for lunch. Relax this afternoon in 4-star comfort at your hotel ahead of tonight's Christmas gala dinner. B,L,D

BOXING DAY: Rhine and Moselle Valleys (included)
Our tour along the Rhine Valley takes us first to the picturesque Rhine Gorge to the south of Koblenz then to Boppard, with its lovely Rhineside promenade. We continue along the meandering scenery of the Moselle Valley to visit the riverside village of Alken. B,D
