In the morning, we take a scenic drive through the Eifel National Park, an area of majestic beech forests, wild brooks and rolling scenery to the idyllic old town of Monschau with its half timbered buildings and winding alleys. Here you can join an optional lunch cruise on the river itself and enjoy the scenery as you cruise down to the famous Loreley Rock, seeing vineyards and castles. We return to Boppard then through the hills and meandering scenery of the Moselle Valley to visit the riverside village of Alken, home of one of the famous vintners the House of Anton Hammes.
