for Christmas markets, the stalls are set around the baroque
cathedral and offer many Christmas treats, including typical
Salzburg Christmas ornaments and colourful advent wreaths.
Away from the markets, visit the decorated boutiques of the
Getreidegasse shopping street and other sights of the city,
including the birthplace of Mozart.

Markets 4-star Salzburg - Itinerary
DAY 1: Fly to
Salzburg airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to
your hotel for a three-night stay.
DAYS 2 & 3: On the morning of Day 2,
a local representative will meet you after
breakfast at your hotel, which is
conveniently located only five minutes on
foot from the central station from where
local buses travel frequently to the Old
Town area. He/she will then escort you by
local bus to the old town for an orientation
walk so that you can get your bearings, see
some of the sights and learn where to find
the Christmas markets. Then, you have
two days in Salzburg to relax, explore and
enjoy the city. The main Christmas markets
are on Cathedral Square and Residence
Square in the city centre, and also on
Mirabell Square, where the merry bustling
and festive atmosphere awakens childhood

Transfer to Salzburg airport for
your return flight home. B
