chalets offer gifts and treats for every taste, including

DAY 1: To Trier
for a three-night stay.
DAY 2: Trier (included) Enjoy the
Christmas market in Trier which takes
place in the town centre. Explore the
festive stalls whilst enjoying a cup of
Glühwein amongst the splendid old
buildings. See the Porta Nigra, the oldest
Roman gateway in Germany. B
DAY 3:
Cologne (included)
Enjoy a full day
in the Rhineland capital of Cologne. You
will find a plentiful supply of mulled wine
and Christmas specialities at Cologne’s
Christmas markets. The floating market
aboard one of the cruise ships moored
along the Rhine Promenade is one of
Cologne’s six Christmas markets! The
Altermarkt is picturesquely situated in
Cologne’s old town and, by following the
shopping streets of Hohe Strasse and
Schildergasse, you come to the Christmas
market at Neumarkt and the Fairytale
Market at Rudolfplatz. Finally, at the foot
of the towering Cologne Cathedral, you
will find the Christmas Market am Dom. B

To Calais
then return home. B
