Full Day: Lake Constance and Mainau Lake Constance, also known as the Bodensee, enjoys a mild climate and plentinful sunshine. The hillsides that slope to the water’s edge are covered with vineyards and orchards, the shores of the lake being shared by Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Our day on the lake includes a visit to the medieval town of Konstanz, once the most important city on the lake due to its strategic position. We also experience the island of Mainau, an exotic, scented floral isle renowned for its rich soil. Full Day: Black Forest Tour Our scenic Black Forest tour features the popular lakeside holiday resort of Titisee and the charming town of Furtwangen. We also visit the health resort of Triberg, home of the Schwarzwald Museum and a centre for the production of the famous Black Forest cuckoo clock.
