FULL DAY A full day tour heading for the North Norfolk coast to reach Cromer, a small Victorian holiday resort set on a bluff above the sea. The prominent church tower, which dominates the town, is the highest in Norfolk, there are lovely cliff-top gardens, and fishing boats on the beach catch succulent crabs which are found just off the coast. Our second coastal visit takes us to nearby Sheringham, a busy little resort with a fine sandy beach, a myriad of small seaside shops and the preserved sail powered lifeboat is worth visiting. FULL DAY Through the Norfolk countryside to visit Sandringham House and Gardens (admission included), favourite retreat of Her Majesty the Queen. Explore the fine 19th century Mansion House - packed with priceless antiques and gifts from around the world - together with the formal gardens, station museum and 300 acre country park (Sommerleyton Hall will be visited if the house is occupied).. *Please Note: Sandringham is closed in March so a full day tour to Norwich & the Norfolk Broads will be substituted instead. |
