In this area famous for
its perfumes, we tour the Fragonard Perfume Factory in Eze,
and also enjoy the stunning views from this medieval village
perched high above the Med. Nice has old narrow streets, perfect
for walks, as is the seafront Promenade des Anglais.
St. Paul de Vence and
Cannes (included).
Charming St. Paul de Vence,
a beautiful, fortified medieval village of winding streets,
is filled with boutiques, cafés and art galleries. We end
the day in Cannes. Take a stroll along the tree-lined Boulevard
de la Croisette, home of the famous film festival.
Monaco and Monte Carlo
(optional).
Rub shoulders with the
rich and famous in the world’s smallest sovereign state of
Monaco, before spending some time in glitzy Monte Carlo.
Alassio (optional).
We visit the resort of
Alassio, boasting beautiful sandy beaches stretching over
3km. Spend the day strolling along the promenade or relaxing
in one of the sea front cafés.
Your Hotels
You’ll stay for five fully-inclusive
nights at the 3-star Delle Mimose Hotel in Diano Marina. Run
by its British owner, Raymond, the hotel is located close
to the town and within walking distance of the sea. The hotel
has a lift, bar, air conditioned, restaurant and swimming
pool. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, safe, balcony and
tea/coffee-making facilities. Overnight stays in northern
France are in city-style hotels.
Mar 2 and Mar 9 departures will stay for five fully-inclusive
nights at the 3-star Hotel Kristall in Diano Marina. The hotel
is situated only 100 metres from the beach and offers a restaurant,
bar, outdoor swimming pool and lounge. All bedrooms have telephone
and satellite television.
