DAY 4: Milan (included) We visit Milan with its fabulous Gothic Cathedral, glittering La Scala Opera house and of course elegant shopping arcades. B,L,D |
DAY 5: Lake Maggiore and the
Borromean Islands (included) We travel to Stressa on Lake Maggiore then by boat to the beautiful Borromean islands which lie in the centre of the lake with their splendid landscaped gardens and parks. B,L, D |

Railway (optional) We visit the worldfamous resort of St. Moritz. From here you join the Bernina Region Railway, the highest rail crossing of the Alps for a spectacular journey through the peaks and glaciers of the Bernina Alps. Hotel Britannia Excelsior in Cadenabbia.
Enjoying a superb setting facing the lake
shore, the hotel has a restaurant featuring
buffet meals and show cooking, large
lounge area, bar, lifts and its own lakeside
lido area with outdoor pool and bar.
Enjoy the superb views across the lake to
Bellagio. All bedrooms have flat-screen
T.V., telephone, hairdryer, ceiling fan and
air-conditioning (mid June to mid
September). The hotel is managed and
owned by the Whieldon family who are
on hand to make sure your stay is
