Be captivated by the Lake District, explored from our base at Windermere, a town which spreads down the hillside to join the village of Bowness by the shores of Lake Windermere. With beautiful scenery, quaint villages and popular attractions, there's plenty to discover.

Full Day: Exploring the Northern Lakelands where you can marvel at the dramatic beauty of this magnificent corner of England. We travel via the Kirkstone Pass – the highest road open to traffic in the Lake District – to beautiful Ullswater where we enjoy a cruise on the second largest lake of the Lake District, which is magnificently set amid the splendour of some of the finest fells in Lakeland. We also call at Keswick – stunningly located on the northern shores of Derwentwater, the Rheged Centre and return via the pretty village of Grasmere.
*Full Day: Tour taking in the very best of the Lake District. Enjoy a cruise on Lake Windermere – England’s longest lake which is surrounded by gently sloping wooded hills and dramatic fell tops. We then take a ride on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway through the picturesque Leven Valley before seeing popular Coniston and bustling Ambleside.

Half Day: Excursion visiting Cumbria’s premier stately home – Holker Hall. Dating back to the 16th Century, the estate has never been sold but passed on through the family line with each generation leaving their own impression on the hall and gardens.
