Holiday Itinerary
DAY 1: UK to N. France
To Dover and Calais, then into northern France for dinner and an overnight stay. (D)
DAY 11: Zakopane to Prague
We cross into the Czech Republic to Prague, the ‘City of a Hundred Spires’, and the Hotel Barcelo (4*). There will be an optional guided city tour of ‘Prague by Night’. (B,D)
DAY 2: N. France to Helmstedt
Through Belgium and Holland into Germany to Helmstedt for dinner and an overnight at the Best Western Hotel (3*). (B,D)
DAY 12: Prague to Wiesbaden
A short stop in Plzen this morning before we cross the German border and travel to Wiesbaden for our overnight stay at the Ramada Treff (3*). (B,D)
DAY 3: Helmstedt to Wroclaw
Across the Polish border and on to Wroclaw for an overnight at the Hotel Park Plaza (3*). After dinner there will be an opportunity to participate in an optional walking tour of Wroclaw. (B,D)
DAY 13: Wiesbaden to N. France
A scenic journey along the Rhine Valley, and the opportunity to enjoy a river cruise, with a stop in Boppard, the ‘Pearl of The Rhine’, en route. We then head for our hotel in northern France for dinner and an overnight stay. (B,D)
DAY 4: Wroclaw to Zakopane
Travelling on through Poland we reach Auschwitz for a guided tour of the concentration camp, where we reflect on the poignant memories of war and of the people who lived to tell the tale. We then head to the resort of Zakopane for our seven night stay at the Hotel Litwor (4*). (B,D)
DAY 14: N. France to UK
After breakfast we travel to Calais for the ferry to Dover and then home. (B)
DAYS 5 to 10: Zakopane
The popular resort of Zakopane attracts visitors from all over Europe who come to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the purity of the mountain air. If you prefer to explore further afield we’ll be happy to welcome you on our two included excursions, showing you some of the many sights of this part of Poland. There will also be a range of optional excursions. (B,D)

Included Excursions
Full Day Krakow
The ancient capital of Poland and for centuries residence to its kings is a must for anyone visiting the country. Dominating the old part of the city are Wawel Castle and Cathedral, a marvellous collection of Gothic and Renaissance buildings, where Polish kings were crowned. The `Rynek Glowny' was the largest square of medieval Europe and today it is the focal point of the city, housing the stunning Cloth Hall with its many colourful stalls. Here you will also find the magnificent St. Mary's Church, one of the finest Gothic structures in Poland, as well as a multitude of bars, cafes and restaurants.
Full Day Wieliczka Salt Mines

The former salt mines have been turned into an impressive museum with spectacular features, such as underground lakes, chapels and sculptures carved out of salt.
