Your hotels
You’ll spend six nights
in the 4-star Novotel Vermar Povoa de Varzim. The hotel enjoys
a superb position overlooking the golden sands of Povoa de
Varzim and is only a mile from the heart of the resort. Facilities
include an outdoor pool, bar, restaurant, gardens and lift.
All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with television,
telephone, air-conditioning and hairdryer. All meals in Povoa
de Varzim are buffet style and dinners include house wine
and soft drinks. During your stay, there will be a folk-show
evening in the hotel restaurant. Live musical entertainment
will also be included in the bar on Friday and Saturday evening.
In France and northern Spain you will stay in city-style hotels.

Varzim is both a traditional fishing town
and cosmopolitan summer resort
favoured by the people of northern
Portugal.
Around the port you’ll find the
picturesque fisherman’s quarter, where
the men arrange their brightly painted
boats and womenfolk mend the nets.
The town’s 2km-wide expanse of sandy
beach is ideal for bathing and relaxing.
For people watching, the Passeio Alegre
is the place to be with its pavement
cafés.
