Full Day: We take the ferry across the Kyles of Bute and journey northwards along the shores of Loch Fyne to call at the pretty white-walled town of Inveraray. Here we enjoy a visit to the popular Jail House Museum, where the history of the former inhabitants is brought to life. Half Day: A circular tour of the panoramic Isle of Bute, taking in delightful scenery as we discover a land of mellow countryside and lovely views. We head through Port Bannatyne on our way past Scalpsie and Kilchattan Bays. Half Day: Today we take a scenic jaunt crossing the beautiful Kyles of Bute to visit the pretty loch side village of Tighnabruaich, surrounded by forest covered hillsides and with stunning views on a clear day over to the Isle of Arran. We also call at Portavadie on the eastern shores of Loch Fyne, with a bustling marina. |
