Canadian Trail - Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: UK to Toronto
Fly from the UK to Toronto and transfer for a three night stay at the Delta Chelsea Hotel, Toronto.
DAY 9: Banff to Jasper
Journey through the Banff and Jasper National Parks visiting Lake Louise and Ice Parkway, travelling through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Canada, with each turn revealing another stunning panorama of snowcapped mountain peaks, lush valleys and crystalclear falls. Board the specially constructed Ice Explorer to ride on the surface of the ancient
Athabasca Glacier. Stay overnight at Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre or Lobstick Lodge, Jasper. (B)
DAY 2: Toronto
Start with an included sightseeing tour of Toronto including Queen’s Park, City Hall, Chinatown, the waterfront and a ride up the CN Tower. Rest of the day at leisure for you to explore at your own pace and seek out your favourite sights. (B)
DAY 3: Niagra Falls
Enjoy a trip to Niagara Falls including the historic Niagara-On-The-Lake village, a boat ride on the thrilling Maid of the Mist to the foot of the Horseshoe Falls, returning to Toronto in the afternoon. (B)
DAY 10: Jasper to Sun Peaks
Travel west along Yellowhead Highway into British Columbia where breathtaking, unspoiled vistas await. Journey along the Thompson River through the picturesque Shuswap Highlands. Stay overnight at Nancy Greene’s Cahilty Lodge or Delta Sun Peaks Resort, Sun Peaks. (B)
DAY 4: Toronto to VIA Rail
Transfer to Union Station to board VIA Rail’s The Canadian en route to western Canada, travelling through the picturesque Muskoka region and Sudbury. Overnight on board the train, your seats converted into upper and lower beds with privacy curtain. Upgrade to private double bedroom available at a supplement, please see price panel. (B, L, D)

DAY 11: Sun Peaks to Whistler
Drive through ranch lands and head for coastal mountains exposing new vistas at every turn arriving in Whistler. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the Delta Whistler or Village Suites, Whistler. (B)
DAY 5: VIA Rail
Continue north by train to view the rugged terrain and old rock formations of the Canadian Shield. Rich in minerals and forests, the region is dotted with thousands of freshwater lakes. By early evening, cross into the province of Manitoba and stop briefly in the capital, Winnipeg. Overnight on board the train. (B, L, D)
DAY12: Whistler to Victoria
The Sea-to-Sky Highway takes in spectacular coastal scenery. Cross from Horseshoe Bay to Vancouver Island by ferry and then continue to Victoria via the Quw’utsun’ Cultural and Conference Centre in Duncan. Stay for two nights at the Chateau Victoria, Victoria. (B)
DAY 6: VIA Rail to Edmonton to Calgery
Arrival into Edmonton, continue by coach to Calgary with the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the Delta Bow Valley, Calgary. (B)
DAY 13: Victoria
Enjoy a tour of Victoria and her maritime heritage, found around the Inner Harbour. The afternoon is free to explore at leisure and seek our your favourite sights..
DAY 7: Calgary to Banff
Begin with a guided city tour of Calgary and then travel west into the rolling foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Continue on to Banff National Park for a two night stay at the Mount Royal Hotel or Banff International Hotel, Banff. (B)
DAY 14: Victoria to Vancover
Travel up the Saanich Peninsula to Butchart Gardens and its wonderful floral displays set in a reclaimed stone quarry. Continue on to Vancouver and enjoy an interesting city tour followed by afternoon at leisure. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner at the Capilano Suspension Bridge with a welcome from the First Nations carvers. Stay overnight at the Metropolitan Hotel, Vancouver. (B, D)
DAY 8: Banff
Enjoy a tour of the region which became Canada’s first national park in 1885 to protect the natural hot springs. The rest of the day at leisure with time to explore the surroundings of Banff, stroll along Banff Avenue, or relax and enjoy the scenery. (B)
DAY 15: Vancover & Inflight
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. (B)
DAY 16: Arrive UK
Arrive back in the UK
