FULL DAY A full day excursion to the historic city of York, without doubt one of our favourite tourist cities. There is plenty of time for sightseeing and shopping, but there is so much to see you will have to be selective. The majestic Minster, the old Roman walls, the Shambles, the Jorvik Centre and the National Railway Museum are all worth considering. FULL DAY A full day tour today as we head into the Yorkshire Dales National Park to visit Pateley Bridge, a lovely little 'Dales' town situated on the River Nidd, Grassington village, located in the heart of Wharfedale and Skipton, also known as the 'gateway to the Dales'. This afternoon we board the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway (ticket included) for a superb ride through the delightful Yorkshire countryside. |
