Day 1: UK to Reims
To Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais, then southwards to Reims for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Reims to Montpellier
We continue southwards through France to Montpellier for an overnight stay at the Mercure Montpellier Antigone. (B,D)

Day 3: Montpellier to Andorra la Vella
We visit to the medieval fortified town of Carcassonne, famous for its unique roman and medieval fortifications. We then pass through the delightful town of Foix before crossing the Spanish border and into Andorra and its capital, Andorra la Vella. Dinner and a three night stay at the Hotel Plaza (5*), a first class hotel with a wealth of leisure facilities. (B,D)

Day 4: Scenic Andorra
Scenic drive through Andorra’s dramatic Pyrenean landscape as we travel along the high valleys surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains and discover timeless little villages. (B,D)

Day 5: Andorra la Vella
Day at leisure. Take advantage of the hotel’s facilities or explore the dramatic scenery. (B,D)

Day 6: Andorra to Costa Brava
We climb across the Pyrenees and pause for sightseeing at Montserrat, where for 700 years pilgrims have ascended to the rock-top monastery to worship in front of the small statue of the Virgin Mary, known as ‘La Moreneta’. Then on to Santa Susanna and the Hotel Onabrava (4*), a well-appointed hotel with an outdoor pool. We stay here for four nights. (B,D)

Day 7: Santa Susanna
At leisure in this lovely resort to enjoy the hotel’s facilities and the resort’s many amenities. (B,D)

Day 8: Gerona & Estartit
Today we visit historic Gerona, with time to explore the old town. We then head to the coastal resort of Estartit for a late lunch and an optional glass bottom boat trip. Enjoy the scenic drive back to Santa Susanna, passing through Saint Feliu de Guixols and Tossa de Mar, taking in the rugged Costa Brava coastline.(B,D)

Day 9: Barcelona
To stunning Barcelona, for a day at leisure in this historic city. Stroll around the harbour, or along the vibrant Ramblas, packed with cafés, shops and restaurants. See the many splendid examples of Spanish Art Nouveau, represented in the buildings of Antoni Gaudí. An optional guided city tour will be available.(B,D)

Day 10: Costa Brava to Bourges area
Back into France, across the Millau Bridge and on to Bourges for an overnight stay at the Novotel Bourges. (B,D)

Day 11: Bourges to Amiens
Through France via Paris,with time for sightseeing, to our overnight hotel in Amiens. (B,D)

Day 12: Amiens to UK
To Calais for the crossing to Dover and then home. (B)
