DAY 1:
Local departure by coach then onwards to northern France for an overnight stay.

DAY 2:
Continue south to Lake Garda for a three-night stay. B,D

DAY 3: Lake Garda
A full-day included excursion along the shores of Lake Garda. We will stop at some of the picturesque villages on this shoreline, including Sirmione, from where you can take an optional cruise on the lake. B,D

DAY 4: Venice
Join our optional excursion to Venice with its maze of ornate bridges, weaving canals and elegant Byzantine and Renaissance architecture. B,D

DAY 5: Siena
We leave Lake Garda and call in at Siena, a picturesque Tuscan medieval town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Piazza del Campo is one of the most famous squares in the world. Continue to Fiuggi near Rome for a three-night stay. B,D.

DAY 6: Rome
Included visit to the 'eternal city'. Our optional guided sightseeing tour by coach and on foot will introduce the city's wonderful sights, including the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia and the Trevi Fountain. B,D

DAY 7: Sorrento or Capri with Sightseeing
A day of choices. Join our optional visit to the popular Neapolitan resort town of Sorrento where you will have free time. Alternatively you can join our optional guided visit to the picturesque Isle of Capri where you will have time to explore its many sights and take in the fabulous scenic views. B,D

DAY 8: Florence
En route from Fiuggi to our overnight stay in Montecatini Terme, Tuscany we visit the Renaissance city of Florence, which is rich in architectural splendour. To get the most from your visit join our optional guided sightseeing tour. B,D

DAY 9: Pisa
Included visit to Pisa, famed for its Leaning Tower, with optional sighteeing, then travel on to Lake Maggiore for a two-night stay. B,D

DAY 10: Lake Maggiore and Borromean Islands
Optional excursion touring around the southern shores of Lake Maggiore to the lakeside town of Baveno, where we board a boat for the short transfer to the picturesque and beautiful Borromean Islands. B,D

DAY 11:
To the Paris outskirts for an overnight stay. B

DAY 12:
To Calais then return home. B

Your Hotels

You'll stay for three nights at the 3-star Hotel Centrale in Torbole or similar on Lake Garda; three nights at a 3-star hotel in the spa-town of Fiuggi, south of Rome; overnight at a 3-star hotel in Montecatini, Tuscany then two nights at a 3-star hotel in Ispra on Lake Maggiore.

Travel Door-to-Door

On holidays of 12 days duration or more and Single Traveller coach holidays, you don't even have to think about getting to your local joining point. If you live within 20 miles of one of our free joining points, Leger will pick you up from your home and take you to meet your feeder coach, then return you back home at the end of your holiday. On European touring holidays of 12 days or more, the cost of this is just £55 per car*, for Single Traveller holidays, it's free of charge. If you live a little further afield, you can also take advantage of this convenient option for an additional charge – please enquire at the time of booking.
