Welcome to Munich. Relax after check-in and later enjoy an evening orientation drive including views of the Olympic Stadium. This evening, meet for a Welcome Reception with your fellow travellers and Travel Director.

2: MUNICH SIGHTSEEING AND AT LEISURE
Munich is a lively, prosperous medieval city – a perfect blend of traditional and modern. See the sights during your morning orientation including the Hofbräuhaus, Marienplatz, Ludwigstrasse and the majestic Opera House. Spend free time afterwards exploring on your own. Visit galleries and museums, shop for souvenirs or consider an optional excursion to the infamous Dachau Concentration Camp. Munich has a proud history of brewing and this evening you might like to join your companions for a night out at a local beer hall. (BB)

3: MUNICH - OBERAMMERGAU - NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE - INNSBRUCK (2)
In Oberammergau, see the theatre where the Passion play has been perfomed every decade since 1634 when Europe was gripped by plague. Drive into the scenic Bavarian mountains and arrive by horse and carriage at Neuschwanstein Castle. Experience a guided tour of this fortress, built in the 19th century for King Ludwig on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau. Arrive later at the famous resort of Innsbruck where you will enjoy dinner at your hotel. Hotel: Grauer Bär (BB D)

4: INNSBRUCK SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
Your orientation includes views of the Wilten Basilica, Golden Roof and the Hofburg Palace. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please. Explore medieval lanes, visit world-class museums and Hapsburg palaces or simply relax and admire this dazzling city set against a spectacular Alpine backdrop. Tonight you might like to see a traditional Tyrolean folklore show. (BB)

5: INNSBRUCK - BERCHTESGADEN - SALZBURG (2)

6: SALZBURG SIGHTSEEING AND AT LEISURE TIME

Visit the Church in Mondsee where the marriage of Captain Von Trapp and Maria was filmed for 'The Sound of Music'. Traverse the Salzkammergut, a picturesque region of mountains and lakes, whose salt deposits brought great wealth to the area. 8: VIENNA SIGHTSEEING AND VIENNA WOODS EXCURSION
Your expert Local Guide reveals the city's major landmarks and palaces during your included morning sightseeing tour. The Imperial Boulevards lead to views of the Opera House, the Hofburg Palace, the Parliament and St. Stephen's Cathedral. The magic continues with a walking tour through the oldest parts of the city near 'Am Hof'. Free time later is an opportunity to indulge in famous pastries like the delicious Sacher Torte.
