DAY
1: ARRIVE ZURICH
Welcome to Zurich, the financial centre of Switzerland. After check-in, you will be
taken on a late afternoon orientation tour of this lakeside city revealing its charm and
beauty. Early this evening enjoy a Welcome Drink and tour briefing with your Tour
Director and meet your fellow travelling companions. Hotel: Renaissance (Deluxe)

2: ZURICH – LIECHTENSTEIN – ST. MORITZ
After breakfast, snow-capped mountains and sparkling lakes abound as you travel to the
tiny Principality of Liechtenstein where you visit its capital, Vaduz. From here travel via
the charming and famous ski resort of Klosters, up to the Fluela Pass (when open), and
past picturesque Susch to your overnight hotel in St. Moritz, the world renowned winter

3: ST. MORITZ – STRESA – ITALIAN LAKES (BAVENO)
Today ascend the Julier Pass and drive along the San Bernadino route to Bellinzona
in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino. Arrive in the lakeside town of Stresa with
views of the beautiful Lago Maggiore. This evening you will enjoy an exclusive 'Be My
Guest' dinner on one of the nearby Borromean Islands. (BB BG) Hotel: Splendid (F)

4: ITALIAN LAKES (BAVENO) – ZERMATT
This morning travel towards the majestic Simplon Pass, 6,600 feet high. Arrive in
Tasch where you board the electric mini-buses and taxis which take you up to the
picturesque village of Zermatt. Then time at leisure in the serenity and crisp air of
this Alpine haven. Why not take a mountain ride for fantastic views of the Matterhorn
which still attracts mountaineers every summer from all over the world. Tonight we

DAY
5: ZERMATT – GENEVA – LAKE GENEVA (EVIAN)
Your day begins with a drive through the Rhône Valley to Lake Geneva where
you will enjoy splendid views of Byron's Castle of Chillon which lies right beside
the waters of the lake. From here drive to the international city of Geneva which
is located on the far western side of the vast Lake Geneva. Here your included
sightseeing tour will show you the Reformation Monument, the old Cathedral, the
Jet d'Eau fountain and the United Nations building. Then drive along the southern
shores of Lake Geneva to Evian, renowned for its pure mineral water, to your

DAY
6: EVIAN – BERNE – INTERLAKEN – BRIENZ – LUCERNE (2)
This morning travel towards Interlaken – which lies between the lakes of Thun and
Brienz and is overlooked by the Jungfrau Mountain. Time for a spot of lunch before
continuing over the Brünig Pass to lakeside Lucerne which lies in a beautiful setting
for two relaxing nights. (BB D) Hotel: Grand Europe (F) (2 nights)
DAY
7: LUCERNE ORIENTATION AND AT LEISURE
After breakfast enjoy an orientation tour around this medieval city. Highlights
include the Lion Monument built in memory of Louis XVI's Swiss Guard and the
famous wooden Chapel Bridge. Later you may wish to take an excursion to a nearby mountain peak, or perhaps join in the fun of a Swiss folklore show. Otherwise
explore the old city and shop for Swiss watches, cuckoo clocks and delicious Swiss
chocolates. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your Tour Director and fellow

8: LUCERNE – DEPART ZURICH
This morning bid farewell to Switzerland and your new-found friends as your
memorable alpine tour comes to an end. Transfers are available. Conditions
