3: Innsbruck (included) During our full-day excursion to the capital of the Tyrol you can explore the old town and admire the Hofburg Palace, St. James’ Cathedral and the famous Golden Roof building, which is a testimony to Innsbruck’s former prominence under the Habsburgs of the 15th century. 4: Bregenz and Lindau (optional, included on SILVER SERVICE) At the crossroads of Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria, Bregenz’s Roman roots date back to before the 7th century. The peninsula of Lindau, on Lake Constance, is a former free Imperial city and a water-lover’s paradise. Its most striking landmark is the marina entrance, with its beautiful white lighthouse. B,D |

5: The Swiss Glacier Express (optional) You can choose to travel by coach (included) or take an exhilarating ride on the Glacier Express from Chur to Andermatt. Now almost 80 years old, the world-famous Swiss Glacier Express rail ride in panorama coaches will take you through unforgettable scenery climbing the summit of the Oberalp Massif. Enjoy breathtaking views through quaint mountain towns, seeing the Rhine as a mountain stream. After, we continue by coach to our hotel in Switzerland for a two- night stay. B,D. The scenic drive over the Brunig Pass takes us to 1000-year-old Brienz, a Bernese Oberland resort on the banks of Lake Brienz. We then travel around the lake shores to the ski resort of Interlaken.
