1: Local departure then onwards to Belgium for an overnight stay. |

3: Innsbruck (included) During our fullday excursion to the capital of the Tyrol you can explore the old town and admire the Hofburg Palace, St. James’ Cathedral and the famous Golden Roof building, which is a testimony to Innsbruck’s former prominence under the Habsburgs of the 15th century. Nowadays Innsbruck’s fame revolves around its importance as a winter sports destination and on our visit to the site of the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics you can admire the courage of the jumpers. DAY
4: Bregenz and Lindau (optional, included on SILVER SERVICE) At the crossroads of Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria, Bregenz’s Roman roots date back to before the 7th century. The peninsula of Lindau, on Lake Constance, is a former free Imperial city and a water-lover’s paradise. Its most striking landmark is the marina entrance, with its beautiful white lighthouse on the south and a lion statue on the north. B,D |
DAY 5: The Swiss Glacier
Express (optional) We leave Austria and head to Switzerland for a two-night stay. You can choose to travel by coach (included) or take an exhilarating ride on the Glacier Express from Chur to Andermatt before continuing by coach. The rail ride will take you through unforgettable scenery climbing the summit of the Oberalp Massif. Enjoy breathtaking views through quaint mountain towns, seeing the Rhine River as a mountain stream. B,D |

6: Lucerne (included); Brienz and Interlaken (optional) Morning visit to Lucerne, one of Leger’s most popular destinations. The town features medieval squares, frescoed houses, churches and chapels. In the afternoon join our optional excursion to Brienz and Interlaken. An afternoon scenic drive over the Brunig Pass takes us to 1000-year-old Brienz, a Bernese Oberland resort on the banks of Lake Brienz, where the local church dates back to the 12th century. We then travel around the lake shores to the ski resort of Interlaken. B,D |
DAY 7: To the outskirts of Paris for an overnight stay. B |
