DAY 1: From Home to Dublin Fly from your local airport to Dublin, where you will be met and transferred to the outskirts of the city to the Brennan Green Isle Hotel, where we stay overnight DAY 2: Dublin to Tralee, visiting Kildare and Adare along the way After breakfast you have the choice of enjoying an optional guided city tour of Dublin or relaxing in the hotel before we venture on to Kildare to visit the interesting Irish National Stud Farm for a guided tour. It’s then off to Adare, a picture postcard village and one of Shannon’s best kept secrets, before continuing to Tralee and the centrally located Abbey Gate Hotel. The perfect base from where we can explore! DAY 3: Marvel at the Ring of Kerry The Ring of Kerry is a beauty spot to behold and today we embark on this spectacular one hundred mile circular tour of beautiful coastal roads that stretch out into the Atlantic Ocean – one of Ireland’s best-known tours. Stunning seascapes and soaring mountains, admired from the comfort of your coach seat. We round the day off by heading back to Tralee via the famed Molls Gap, Ladies View and Killarney National Park. Definitely a day to remember! DAY 4: We’re off to the Dingle Peninsula This morning the adventure continues as we head around the Dingle Peninsula, a superb panorama of sandy beaches, soaring mountains and fascinating rock formations. This captivating coastline has inspired films such as ‘Ryan’s Daughter’ and ‘Far and Away’. We then go west to Slea Head, Europe’s most westerly point, whose outlying historic Blasket Islands are known as ‘the next parish to America’. Our circular tour draws to a close after a visit to the picturesque town of Dingle. DAY 5: Free time in Tralee Today is a free day for you to relax in the hotel or explore popular Tralee at your leisure. Maybe you will visit the award-winning 'Kerry the Kingdom' Museum or the Siamse Tire - The National Folk Theatre of Ireland. DAY 6: From Tralee to Waterford, via Cork and Blarney We leave Tralee today and head to the wonderful city of Cork, recently visited by the Queen, for free time to explore. We continue through Blarney, home to the legendary stone, before venturing on to the coastal city of Waterford, where we stay tonight at the central Treacys Hotel. DAY 7: Explore Waterford and Waterford Crystal Today we have a treat in store as we visit Waterford Crystal for an insight into the history and heritage. We then head off on foot on a guided walking tour of the city before we continue on to Dublin and the Carlton Blanchardstown Hotel where we stay overnight. DAY 8: From Dublin back to home Our tour driver will advise your transfer pick up times, as today we bid farewell to Dublin and head off to catch the flight home, with holiday memories to treasure forever. |
