DAY 1:
Local departure by coach then onwards to the Dusseldorf area for a three or four-night stay.

DAY 2: Floriade
Enjoy a full-day included visit to Floriade (entrance included). Floriade 2012 is expected to attract around two million visitors from all over the world. Exhibitors from at least 25 countries work for many years to adorn the carefully landscaped gardens with exceptional displays and presentations. It is sure to be a day you'll never forget! B

DAY 3: Cologne & Koblenz
Included excursion firstly to the capital of the Rhineland, the lively city of Cologne. Explore the Old Town and visit the magnificent cathedral with its majestic spires standing proud. In the afternoon we head to Koblenz which sits at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. B

DAY 4: (5-day tour only) Dusseldorf; Aachen
Included morning excursion to Düsseldorf whose Old Town, Altstadt quarter, is pedestrianised and a great place to begin your sightseeing, with many historical sights, boutiques, museums and tourist attractions. In the afternoon join our optional excursion to Aachen, which in the Middle Ages was the seat of emperors and kings. Its hot springs made this city, at the foot of the Eifel hills, the favourite residence of Charlemagne, who built a palace here. B

DAY 4: 4-day tour) or Day 5 (5-day tour)
Travel to Calais and return home. B
