New Year's Eve is at leisure to explore the many sights, such as the magnificent St Bavo's Cathedral that towers over the skyline and houses famous works of art like 'The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb'.
There is also Ghent's Winderdroom ('Winter Dream') offering a huge ferris wheel, fairground rides and plenty of stalls selling festive handicrafts and cuisine.
Finally, you will visit Ostend – a popular Belgian resort which hosts a bustling Christmas market offering an ice-skating rink, festive stalls and an array of hot food and drink.

DAY 1: Ghent
Journey to Valkenburg. Dinner is included at your hotel.

DAY 2: Ghent (New Year's Eve)
Coach transfer into central Ghent for an included canal sightseeing cruise and time at leisure to shop and sightsee. Return mid-afternoon transfers back to the hotel for time to freshen up before the New Year's celebration party at your hotel. We include a glass of champagne, 4 course dinner and live music.

DAY 3: Bruges (New Year's Day)

After a leisurely brunch, transfer to the beautiful city of Bruges is included for a day at leisure. Early evening return transfer to the hotel for your included dinner.

DAY 4: Ostend
Depart from the hotel after breakfast for an included visit to the popular resort of Ostend before continuing your journey home.

This modern hotel offers en-suite facilities, a comfortable bar and a dining room where continental breakfasts will be included throughout your stay. The hotel is situated a short journey by coach from central Ghent or a tram ride from the nearby tram stop.
