DAY 2: ATHENS SIGHTSEEING
This morning your expert guided sightseeing tour includes a visit to the Acropolis, which literally means 'highest point'. It was formally proclaimed as the preeminent monument on the European Cultural Heritage list of monuments in March 2007. Then see the Panathinaiko Olympic stadium and the Evzone guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. You will tour some of the most famous sites in Athens such as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. Afterwards, your afternoon and evening is at leisure. This evening, why not dine on local specialities in one of Athens' many cosmopolitan restaurants? (BB)

DAY 3: ATHENS – MYKONOS (3)
Today drive to the port of Piraeus to board your ferry which will take you to the Cycladic Island of Mykonos, playground of the rich and famous. On arrival in this beautiful island, you are transferred to your hotel. Then free time to explore this white-washed island with its unique windmills, narrow winding pathways and tempting boutiques. This evening enjoy a Highlight Dinner of local specialities and afterwards have the chance to experience the uninhibited nightlife of this vibrant island! (BB HD) Hotel: Petinos/Manoulas/Akrogiali (F) (3 nights)

DAY 4 TO DAY 5: MYKONOS AT LEISURE
You have two glorious days at leisure to enjoy Mykonos. The island has 9,320 inhabitants most of whom live in the principal town, also called Mykonos but known as Chora, which means 'the town' in Greek. Chora is often used in Greece when the name of the island itself is the same as the name of the principal town. Mykonos is composed primarily of granite and has little natural fresh water, relying on the desalination of sea water in order to meet its needs. It is believed that the island was named after a local hero who is considered an offspring of the god Apollo and was worshipped locally in antiquity. You have time to enjoy a cocktail in a waterfront restaurant and to take a swim at one of the dazzling beaches surrounding the island. If it is more sightseeing you are looking for a suggestion is to take an excursion to Delos. This charming island has many tales to tell from Greek mythology and is the birthplace of Artemis and Apollo. (BB/BB)

DAY 6: MYKONOS – SANTORINI (3)
A short ferry ride takes you to the beautiful island of Santorini where you spend the next three days. You are met at the port and transferred to your hotel. After check-in there is free time to begin to explore Santorini, also known as Thera, which comprises of a small circular archipelago of volcanic islands located in the southern Aegean Sea. Santorini is essentially what remains of an enormous volcanic explosion, destroying the earliest settlements on what was formerly a single island. This lead to the creation of the current geological caldera. The spectacular physical beauty along with a dynamic nightlife has made the island one of Europe's tourist hotspots. This evening enjoy a Highlight Dinner of local specialities. (BB HD) Hotel: El Greco/Kallisti (F) (3 nights)

DAY 7 TO DAY 8: SANTORINI AT LEISURE
Santorini has much to offer and you will have two full days to do as you please. Enjoy breathtaking views, white-washed houses, amazing sunsets and cobblestone streets. This island is a truly unique experience. Spend your days relaxing in clifftop restaurants and lazing on the sunsoaked black, red and white beaches. Perhaps take a caique ride to the volcanic island of Nea Kamini and swim in the hot springs? (BB/BB)

DAY 9: SANTORINI – ATHENS
Today make your way back by high-speed ferry to Athens for the final night of your tour. On arrival in the port of Piraeus you are transferred back to your Athens hotel. Have time at leisure to do some last-minute shopping, or maybe join your travelling companions for a celebration dinner on the final night of this memorable tour together. (BB) Hotel: Metropolitan(SF)

DAY 10: DEPART ATHENS
Time to bid farewell to Greece and your new-found friends as this morning you are transferred to the airport for return flights home. (BB)

Please note: Due to weather conditions, calls at the ports of Mykonos and Santorini may need to be altered.
