Blackpool & the Lakes - England
Coach Tours - 5 or 8 Days

Tour Highlights
• Forest of Bowland • Fleetwood Market by Tram • Lake District National Park • Skipton • Hawkshead
• Lake Windermere • Blackpool Fun & Entertainment

Few resorts can equal the lively, fun-loving atmosphere of Blackpool. Magnificent sandy beaches, three fine piers, a host of theatrical talent and of course the world famous Tower, the promenade trams and the Pleasure Beach combine to make Blackpool one of the most popular holiday destinations in Britain. The East Drive is noted for its carefully planted flower-beds, with many other parks and public gardens providing a peaceful change from the hustle and bustle of the famous ‘Golden Mile’.

Blackpool & the Lakes - Your Excursions
FULL DAY
Within an hour the beautiful scenery of the Lake District beckons, and on today’s full day tour we explore this favourite National Park. We visit picturesque Hawkshead, characterised by its cluster of whitewashed cottages, alleyways, courtyards and enticing shops and bustling Bowness, probably the most popular tourist haunt. Here there is an opportunity to take an optional cruise on Windermere, the largest of the lakes.
FULL DAY
A full day excursion which takes us along the Ribble Valley to the area known as the Forest of Bowland, although few trees grow on the wild moorland landscape. We visit the village of Slaidburn, where the inn dates back to the 13th century before arriving in Skipton to enjoy its regular street market.
HALF DAY
A great opportunity to marvel at the sights and sounds of Blackpool seafront as we take a ride on one of the famous trams to Fleetwood, where there will be plenty of time to explore and visit the local market.

Warwick Hotel
Warwick Hotel
THE WARWICK HOTEL enjoys a prime seafront position on the quieter, completely level New South Promenade - convenient for the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle, and just opposite one of the many tram stops. There are two bars, regular evening entertainment and comfortable lounge areas. All bedrooms feature private facilities, television, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.
