Enjoying some of Britain’s finest unspoilt scenery, and some of our finest historical treasures,
this lovely part of the country is a joy to explore. Our five day midweek break itinerary

Cotswold Villages
& the Severn Valley - Your Excursions
FULL
DAY This
wonderful full day tour begins with the drive to the station
where we board the famous Severn Valley Railway for the scenic
journey to Bridgnorth (rail ticket included). Here the town
is divided into two levels, linked by the country’s oldest
and steepest cliff railway, with the main market square perched
high on a hilltop overlooking the River Severn. In the afternoon
we journey via hill and dale to historic Ludlow, once capital
of the Marches and today one of Britain’s best preserved medieval
towns.
FULL DAY A full day
tour of the Cotswolds, through the Vale of Evesham fruit growing
area to the lovely village of Broadway, built in mellow Cotswold
stone. From here we climb into the hills to Stow-onthe- Wold,
noted for some of its specialist shops, and the picture-book
village of Bourton-onthe- Water, set around its little river
crossed by miniature stone bridges.
FULL DAY A full day tour to the
nearby city of Worcester, visited
mainly for its historic cathedral,
which is set beside the River Severn
and the Royal Worcester Pottery -
which offers fantastic factory shop
bargains.
