A seaside resort for over
200 years,Weymouth remains a favourite holiday destination.
The curving bay, with its lovely sandy beach, is to be the
venue for the 2012 Olympic sailing events, and there are three
miles of level promenade, a bustling town centre, and a colourful
harbour with day trips in the summer to the Channel Islands.
Inland is the tranquil landscape of the Dorset countryside,
whilst the coastline has strange features such as the lagoon
of the Chesil Beach and some spectacular cliff scenery too.

HALF
DAY To the Isle of Purbeck
renowned for marble type limestone
and the small resort of Swanage. It
has a lovely sandy beach and is the
terminus of a preserved steam
railway, with some fine cliff scenery
in the area. En route see the
delightful village and romantic ruins
of Corfe Castle.
HALF DAY Beside the eighteen-mile
bank of pebbles known as the Chesil
Beach, enclosing Fleet Lagoon, a
haven for water birds, to call at the
pretty village of Abbotsbury. There’s
an opportunity to visit the
Swannery, founded by monks 600
years ago, a reserve for mute swans.
On to the fishing port of West Bay
and the pleasant old ropemaking
town of Bridport.

Weymouth, with magnificent views across the bay, this impressive
art deco building plays host to some great holiday facilities,
including both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, a
restaurant, bar and ballroom. All of the chalet style bedrooms

making facilities.

HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to choose the coach seat of your choice
which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat
numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In
most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats
23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst
seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note
that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do
smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort
stops en route.
