much of its Victorian atmosphere, the resort has a pier, seaside
cafes, and lovely walks by the sea wall to neighbouring Shanklin
and along the cliffs to Culver Down for panoramic views of
the Channel. Inland the pace is relaxed and unhurried, but

FULL
DAY A
full day tour taking in East Wight via the resorts of Bembridge
and St Helens before visiting Whippingham Church. Onto the
capital of the island, Newport before visiting Arreton Barns
Craft Village where you can discover several attractions including
a Lavender & Lace shop, Glassworks and a ceramics Workshop.
FULL DAY Today we
head for Alum Bay, with its famous twenty-one colour sand
cliffs, and the impressive Needles.We then drive on to Yarmouth
with its picturesque pleasure boat harbour and panoramic views
across the Solent towards the mainland, returning to Sandown
past the principal yachting port of Cowes.
HALF DAY A half day excursion to
the picturesque village of Godshill,
thought by many to be the
prettiest on the Island.

OUR OWN HOTEL in Sandown is a fine Georgian
building standing in its own pretty gardens, about a ten minute
downhill walk to the seafront and High Street. Here you can
look forward to a warm welcome, while inside you'll find comfortable
lounges, with panelling recovered from the RMS Aquitania -
one of the famous Cunard ocean liners - together with a lovely
bright restaurant, spacious bar and entertainment lounge with
sprung dance floor. All bedrooms are feature private facilities,
telephone, television, hairdryer and tea and coffee making
facilities.

which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat
numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In
most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats
23 and 24 move to the drivers side of the vehicle, whilst
seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note
that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do
smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort
stops en route.
