FULL
DAY A
lovely full day excursion taking-in the enchanting North Devon
Coast, Exmoor and ‘Doone Country’ - the landscape that inspired
the classic novel ‘Lorna Doone’.We visit the unspoiled medieval
village of Dunster, dominated by its romantic castle and once
described as ‘a perfect relic of feudal times’. Then it’s
on to Simonsbath, Minehead and the lovely twin towns of Lynton
and Lynmouth, set one above the other and linked by a cliff
railway.
HALF DAY An extended
half day excursion to Bideford and Appledore. This morning
we head to the historic port of Bideford, across bridge that
spans the River Torridge, to the busy quay. There is time
to explore the narrow streets before following the estuary
to the pretty village of Appledore, located where the Rivers
Taw and Torridge meet.
HALF DAY A half day tour to the
ancient market town of Barnstaple,
where there is time to shop in the
historic Pannier Market for Devon
specialities such as clotted cream
and lace.

CENTRALLY LOCATED in the heart of this
lovely resort, the Grosvenor is within easy walking distance
of the shops, beach and harbour. Facilities include a spacious
ballroom featuring entertainment every evening, a comfortable
lounge bar, and good food in the dining room. All bedrooms

HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to choose the coach seat of your choice
which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat
numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In
most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats
23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst
seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note
that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do
smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort
stops en route.
