FULL
DAY Today
we explore the delights of Northumbria’s Heritage Coastline.We
make our way to Holy Island (subject to tidal conditions),
known locally as Lindisfarne, famed for being the birthplace
of English Christianity. Then to Bamburgh with its fairytale
castle and magnificent views of the Farne Islands.
FULL DAY Today we
head into the magnificent Kielder Forest which is Europe’s
largest working forest and has Europe’s largest man-made reservoir.
Our journey continues through the lovely Cheviot Hills, returning
via the town of Otterburn.
FULL DAY A leisurely full day tour
of Teesdale and the Northern Pennines, calling at Middleton-in-
Teesdale, founded in 1753 by the quaker run London Lead Company,
now a small tourist centre. Then across the high moorlands
to the Tyne Valley and Hexham, with its stately Abbey.

Tynemouth
THE PARK HOTEL enjoys a prominent position
in the seaside town of Tynemouth, with stunning views overlooking
the Northumberland coastline. Facilities include a lounge
bar and restaurant, and all bedrooms feature private facilities,

which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat
numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In
most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats
23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst
seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note
that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do
smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort
stops en route.
