In a setting unsurpassed for scenic beauty, Scarborough is bounded by the North York Moors and the rolling pastures of the Yorkshire Wolds. The town itself straddles two majestic bays and is dominated by an impressive headland, capped by a Norman Castle. There are acres of spacious gardens, cliff top walks, a colourful working harbour, spa complex with frequent shows and concerts, a renowned theatre and lots of traditional seaside activities and entertainment.

Heartbeat Country & the Heritage Coast - Your Excursions

FULL DAY
A tour to Whitby and the North York Moors National Park, with dramatic unspoilt scenery all day.Whitby is the old seafaring town of Captain Cook, a picturesque fishing port and resort combined, set beneath a ruined Abbey. From here we climb into the moors and deep valleys of �Heartbeat� Country, to visit Goathland, the village seen in the popular TV series. From here you can take an optional ride on the North York Moors Railway to the market town of Pickering, where we have our final stop.

FULL DAY
Following the �Heritage Coast�, where cliffs tower above the sea, to call at Flamborough Head, with its panoramic coastal views, before continuing to Beverley, a prosperous market town with some fine Georgian buildings and a beautiful 13th century Minster church, returning through the quiet countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds.

Rivelyn Hotel

LOCATED IN the South Cliff area, the Rivelyn enjoys a quiet position only a few hundred yards from the cliff-top promenade. There is a spacious function area with dance floor and adjoining bar, an attractive restaurant and quiet lounge areas. All bedrooms feature private facilities, television, radio and tea and coffee making facilities.

YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to choose the coach seat of your choice which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats 23 and 24 move to the driver�s side of the vehicle, whilst seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort stops en route.
