FULL DAY You'll really get a feel for this glorious part of the country as we enjoy a relaxing sojourn through unspoilt rolling countryside and sleepy towns and villages. We visit the proud Stroud Valley town of Nailsworth before travelling along the Golden Valley, source of the River Thames, to arrive in Cirencester, second largest Roman city in Britain. This afternoon we make our way to Tetbury, a delightful Cotswold market town with many elegant buildings and a myriad of individually owned speciality shops. FULL DAY A lovely full day excursion along the North Devon Coast. We visit the unspoilt medieval village of Dunster, dominated by its romantic castle and continue along the spectacular coast road to the lovely twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, set one above the other and linked by a cliff railway. |
