DAY Through
the heart of Tyneside into the peaceful countryside of Northumberland
to reach the cosy town of Alnwick, voted in 2003 “ the best
place to live in England”.Visit the imposing castle, a favourite
set for film makers, and its renowned gardens (admission included).
FULL DAY You will
find today’s full day visit to Beamish Open Air Museum a truly
unforgettable experience (admission included). Ride on the
trams, visit the shops, and walk into houses - all faithfully
recreating life at the turn of the century. One thing’s for
sure - it really takes you back!
FULL DAY A full day excursion where
we turn the clock back almost 100 years, as we head for South
Shields. Here we take a tour of Catherine Cookson countryone
of the country’s best loved, and most read, authors. This
afternoon we take time to visit the historic Cathedral city
of Durham, with time to explore at leisure.

miles south of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, this modern hotel has

HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to choose the coach seat of your choice
which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat
numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In
most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats
23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst
seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note
that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do
smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort
stops en route.
