This wonderful tour, based at one of our own hotels, combines all the very best that Scotland has to offer - magnificent scenery, good food and great Highland hospitality. Our holiday base, the pretty Highland village of Blair Atholl, is perfectly situated for touring and our packed holiday itinerary explores the breathtaking Highlands, and Scotland’s glorious lochs and glens.

The Monarch of the Glens - Holiday Itinerary
SATURDAY
We head for our overnight stop in the north of England.
SUNDAY
Crossing the border we make our way to Blair Atholl and the Bridge of Tilt Hotel, our holiday base for the next five nights.
MONDAY
At leisure to relax, explore the surrounding area, or perhaps visit famous Blair Castle.
TUESDAY
A half day excursion which includes a guided tour of Scotland’s smallest distillery at Edradour, virtually unchanged since Victorian times. There is also time for sightseeing and shopping at the tourist centre of Pitlochry.
WEDNESDAY
A magnificent full day scenic excursion today as we head for Queen’s View -the point made famous by Queen Victoria for its breathtaking views of lovely Loch Tummel and the surrounding mountains. Moving on we are in for more scenic delights as we journey along Loch Tay and Loch Earn to the pleasant little town of Crieff.
THURSDAY
A scenic full day excursion to Deeside, a favourite hideaway for our Royal Family since the days of Queen Victoria.We climb the Devil’s Elbow to cross the remote Cairnwell Pass in the heart of the Grampian Mountains, then descend to Braemar, location of the Highland Games. Past famous Balmoral Castle and little Crathie Church we reach the Deeside touring centre of Ballater, where you can discover many Royal associations.
FRIDAY
Heading south we drive via Dunkeld and Perth, before skirting Edinburgh and crossing into England for our final overnight stay.
SATURDAY
Sadly we return for home.

THIS FORMER HUNTING lodge enjoys an idyllic position in the pretty village of Blair Atholl. It’s a marvellous base for a wonderful break, featuring excellent Highland hospitality, open log fires in the lounges, excellent food and great entertainment. Reserved Coach Seats
YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to choose the coach seat of your choice which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats 23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
