The National Botanic Garden
of Wales is the first botanic garden to be created in nearly
200 years, and it forms the focal point of this excellent
gardens tour. Our packed itinerary also features four more
gardens too, from historic Singleton Park, with its own botanical
gardens, to the Museum of Welsh Life which offers a unique
insight into social history through its fascinating garden
displays.

Gardens of Wales - Your Excursions
FULL DAY Our first
visit is to the Museum of Welsh Life, considered to be one
of the best open air museums in Europe. In the afternoon we
visit Dyffryn (admission included), an Edwardian garden that
is being gradually restored, but already features an arboretum,
garden rooms and formal lawns.
FULL DAY Gardens
and coastlines today as we head for Singleton Park where we
enjoy a guided tour of the Botanical Gardens, housed within
the walled garden, once part of the estate owned by Lord Swansea.
In the afternoon to the beautiful Gower Peninsula, a land
of limestone cliffs, remote bays and mile upon mile of golden
sands.
FULL DAY Today we visit the first
‘national’ botanic garden to be
created in the United Kingdom in
nearly 200 years (admission
included). Dedicated to
conservation, horticulture, science
and leisure, this amazing
experience culminates in a visit to
the unique glass dome housing a
Mediterranean garden. In the
afternoon we also visit the
spectacular Aberglasney Garden
(admission included) with its
enigmatic garden structures such
as the Yew Tunnel and the Cloister
Garden.

HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to choose the coach seat of your choice
which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat
numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In
most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats
23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst
seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note
that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do
smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort
stops en route.
