refreshing change to the more popular seaside resorts.

FULL
DAY Alongside the estuary of
the River Taw to the market town of
Barnstaple, famous for its Pannier
Market and local Devon specialities.
Then enjoy a scenic drive by the
shoulders of the Exmoor National
Park to descend to the sea at
Ilfracombe. Here there’s plenty of
time to explore this popular resort
with its picturesque harbour,
promenade and traditional holiday
attractions.
FULL DAY Heading into Cornwall
we soon reach Bude, a small resort
with extensive beaches, which has
become a favourite surfing centre.
Enjoying the spectacular Cornish
coastlines we head for tiny
Boscastle, the cosy port, which has
now fully recovered from its
disastrous flood. A narrow ravine
leads down to the village, where
cottages and small-scale shops line
the riverfront.

THIS PRIVATELY OWNED eighteenth century
building on Bideford Quay is adjacent to the old stone bridge
and the town centre. It offers a relaxed atmosphere, an oak
beamed dining room, and a cosy lounge bar featuring real ales.

HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to choose the coach seat of your choice
which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat
numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In
most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats
23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst
seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note
that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do
smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort
stops en route.
