For the many thousands who return here year after year, Bridlington is the perfect seaside resort. There�s miles of level promenade, the lovely Heritage Coast, and beautiful golden beaches. There�s the busy working harbour alive with colourful trawlers and pleasure boats, the Old Town with its Priory Church, clifftop Sewerby Village and Park, and the bustling town centre crammed full of traditional holiday fun.

Yorkshire Coast & Country - Your Excursions

FULL DAY
A full day tour of the spectacular North Yorkshire coast and �Heartbeat� country of the North York Moors National Park. Our first port of call is the old seafaring town of Whitby with its famous connections to the explorer Captain Cook as well as the spinechilling book Dracula. Climbing into the moors and deep valleys of �Heartbeat� country we come to Goathland, Aidensfield in the long running TV series, before descending to the pretty Dales village of Thornton-le-Dale, with its old market cross, cafes and gift shops.

FULL DAY
A full day excursion to the historic city of York, without doubt one of our favourite tourist cities. There is plenty of time for sightseeing and shopping, but there is so much to see you will have to be selective. The majestic Minster, the old Roman walls, the Shambles, the Jorvik Centre and the National Railway Museum are all worth considering.

HALF DAY
To Beverley, county town of the East Riding of Yorkshire, with a gorgeous medieval Minster church, elegant Georgian houses, two market squares, and some rather enticing shopping opportunities. Relatively small, it has become a favourite place to live in the area.

Monarch Hotel

RUN AND owned by Grand UK Holidays, the Monarch is one of Bridlington�s leading hotels - and a huge success with our clients for many years. Personally supervised by our General Manager Linda Nicholson, our hotel stands right on the seafront, and is perfectly placed on South Marine Drive for a comfortable stroll into town or along the level promenade. There is a lovely restaurant and comfortable bar area on the first floor, together with a maple dance floor, and a relaxing reception lounge on the ground floor too. All bedrooms feature private facilities, television, telephone, and tea and coffee facilities.

Reserved Coach Seats
YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to choose the coach seat of your choice which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats 23 and 24 move to the driver�s side of the vehicle, whilst seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort stops en route.
