Full Day: Excursion including an exhilarating steam train journey aboard the magnificently restored carriages of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. This is the most popular heritage railway in the country and you will pass through some of Yorkshire's most spectacular scenery on your delightful journey to Pickering. Following some free time in Pickering we visit the charming town of Helmsley. Full Day: Enjoying a scenic drive to the unspoilt seaside resort of Filey - a gem on the Yorkshire coastline. On then to Sledmere House which has been captivating visitors for over 200 years. This Grade I listed Georgian country house is set within beautiful parkland and was designed Half Day: Jaunt to the colourful fishing port of Whitby. Whitby effortlessly combines a fascinating history, ruined abbey and working harbour with sandy beaches, rock pools and traditional seaside attractions. Not to mention some of the best fish and chips in the world! We return by way of the North Yorkshire Moors. |
