Included Excursions

Full Day: A real highlight this morning as we enjoy a scenic journey on the completely extended Welsh Highland Railway, truly a 'Great Rail Journey', stretching from Caernarfon to Porthmadog. After a stop in Porthmadog we take to the tracks again joining the Ffestiniog Railway for a steam journey to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Historic trains climb over 700 feet from sea level into the mountains through tranquil pastures and magnificent forests, past lakes and waterfalls and round horseshoe bends
Half Day: Excursion enjoying a journey on the Llanberis Lake Railway, at the foot of Mount Snowdon. Narrow-gauge steam engines haul their trains along the shores of beautiful Padarn Lake taking in the unrivalled scenery of wonderful Snowdonia, from viewpoints quite inaccessible by road.
