DAY 1:
Fly to San Francisco. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a three-night stay.

DAY 2 & 3: San Francisco
Two days to relax and explore this great city. Our optional sightseeing excursion will show you the highlights including Union Square, China Town, Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Haight- Ashbury – the 60s hippy hangout – and the artists' colony of Sausalito, plus don't forget to take a ride on the city's famous cable cars.

DAY 4: Monterey, Carmel and the Pacific Coast Highway
Depart San Francisco and visit Monterey, with its lovely waterfront and historic Cannery Row. We'll travel along 17 Mile Drive where you can enjoy stunning coastal views as we pass through exclusive neighbourhoods and well-manicured golf courses, and, of course, the Lone Cypress Tree, one of the most photographed landmarks of the Californian coast. We'll also visit Carmel, where a white sand beach, quaint streets and courtyards and a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere combine to make this a lovely place to visit. Then continue along the spectacular Pacific Coast highway to Pismo Beach for an overnight stay.

DAY 5: Hollywood
We travel via the picturesque town of Santa Barbara to Hollywood where you can trace the footsteps of 'big screen' stars as you stroll the acclaimed Walk of Fame. Continue to Anaheim for a two-night stay.

DAY 6: San Diego

Today you can join our popular optional excursion to southern California to San Diego, with its famous Old Town, Marina and historic Gas Lamp Quarter plus sun-drenched beaches along its 70 miles of coastline.

 

DAY 7: Las Vegas
We travel into Nevada to Las Vegas for a twonight stay. This evening you can join our fabulous optional Vegas by Night excursion. This thrilling guided tour takes you to downtown Vegas to the amazing light show of Fremont street before continuing up the famous Strip. You'll see a variety of amazing sights including the pirate show at Treasure Island Hotel, the exploding volcano of the Mirage and the dancing fountains at the renowned Bellagio Hotel.

 

DAY 8: Grand Canyon
Free day in Las Vegas or join our optional full-day sightseeing tour to the Grand Canyon, a once-in-a-life-time experience. En route you'll see the famous Hoover Dam. Then, when you arrive at the Canyon be sure to join an optional helicopter flight down into the Canyon itself, a truly amazing experience.

 

DAY 9:
Transfer to Las Vegas Airport for the overnight return flight home.

DAY 10:
Arrival in the UK
