Killarney - Holiday Itinerary
DAY 1:
Home Holyhead to Dublin Make your
own way to your chosen airport for the flight
to Dublin. We then make our way to the Ardmore Hotel, on the
outskirts of Dublin.
DAY 5:
Full Day Exploring the Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head Slea Head is Europe’s most westerly point and its
outlying historic Blasket Islands are known as ‘the
next parish to America’. The unsurpassed beauty
of its rugged coastline inspired director David
Lean to shot his epic film ‘Ryan’s Daughter’ here.
The landscape is dotted with ancient historic
sites and early Christian dwellings and passes
through several towns before arriving at the
picturesque town of Dingle.
DAY 2: Dublin to Adare to Killarney Following
an optional guided tour of Dublin we make our way across Ireland
passing Port Laoise, Neagh and Limerick. After an afternoon
stop in Adare with its abbey's and thatched cottages we continue
on to Killarney where we spend 4 nights at the centrally-located
Eviston House Hotel, home of the legendary Danny Mann Singing
Lounge, where you'll experience the best in Irish hospitality
coupled with great Irish music, with locals and visitors alike
joining with the band to sing the nights away.
DAY 6: Killarney to Adare to Dublin We head back eastwards across Ireland, calling
in at the pretty town of Adare with charming
thatched cottages before continuing onto Dublin
and the Lynch Green Isle Hotel on the outskirts
of the city. You may chose to relax in the hotels
fabulous leisure facilities or make your own way
into the centre to explore the many sights.
DAY 3: Full
Day Excursion to the Ring of Kerry A highlight
of our holiday is today's tour of the spectacular `Ring of
Kerry', without doubt the most beautiful and renowned day
tour in the whole country. We follow the coast road around
the Iveragh Peninsula, along the beautiful Atlantic coast
for one hundred miles of breathtaking seascapes and outstanding
views. We return to Killarney through the famed Molls Gap,
Ladies View and Killarney National Park.
DAY 7: Dublin to Holyhead to Home We enjoy
a full Irish breakfast before heading for the return sailing
or the flight home.
DAY 4: A Free Day in Killarney Why not take a ride on a famous ‘Jaunting Car’,
board a lake cruiser, or join our optional excursion
