UK to France To Dover
for the short crossing to Calais and on to our overnight hotel
in France.
DAY 9:
Alassio to Reims We bid farewell to Italy today as we travel
northwards through France to Reims and our
overnight hotel. (B,D)
DAY 2: France to Alassio Today we continue our journey
south through Chambery and into Italy, making our way to Alassio
where we spend the next seven nights. (B,D)
DAY 10: Reims to UK To Calais where we take
the late morning ferry to Dover and home. (B)

in Alassio. Enjoy our included excursions and see the best
of the area including beautiful Portofino, or join our optional
excursion programme to discover the highlights of the French

Day: Portofino The pretty
harbour at Portofino is one of the most picturesque in Italy.
Hemmed in by pineclad hills, its gaily painted buildings have
attracted artists and photographers from around the world.
Relax in the main square next to the harbour and enjoy a drink
at one of the many cafés, or explore the narrow, winding
streets.
Full Day: Scenic Coast & San Remo Explore
the beautiful coastline of Liguria where the Aquitaine Alps
dramatically plunge to the sea, before stopping for free time
in the pleasant resort town of San Remo which boasts many
shops, cafés and restaurants, and a lovely old quarter.
Full Day: Ventimiglia Market We journey
to Ventimiglia for the lively weekly market which stretches
from the Via della Repubblica down to the sea front..
