Day: Chamonix A trip through the magnificent Savoy Alps where the snow-peaked mountains tower high above the pretty villages below and a visit to the stylish resort of Chamonix, a vibrant Alpine town at the foot of Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest peak and home to the Mer de Glace mountain railway. Full Day: Geneva An enjoyable day’s excursion to the truly international city of Geneva that is the Swiss centre of banking and watchmaking. The city is also close to the lake of the same name that forms a natural border between Switzerland and France and is famous for its water jet, which can reach 150 metres in height. Half Day to Annecy Annecy is a charming lakeside village nestled in the Alps, with cobbled streets and pretty canals that wind their way through the old town to the shores of the lake nearby.
