DAY 1:
UK to Liege We travel to Calais and continue into Belgium,
for an overnight stay in the Liege area.
DAY 6: Fuschl to Leige We return northwards through Germany, into
Belgium for our final overnight stay. (B,D)
DAY 2: Liege to Fuschl Southwards through Germany and Austria,
arriving in Fuschl in time for dinner. (B,D)
DAY 7: Liege to UK To Calais, Dover and home.

DAYS 3 to 5: Fuschl Enjoy time at leisure in the enchanting village of
Fuschl with two included excursions into the
beautiful Austrian Lake district or
‘Salzkammergut’. The wonderful city of Salzburg
is only a short drive away, with its famous sights
including the Mirabell Gardens and the
Hohensalzburg fortress. (B,D)

Day: Three Lakes Tour A journey through the ‘Salzkammergut’,
Austria’s premier lake district, with its landscape
of unique natural beauty and crystal-clear lakes.
Our scenic tour takes in the the sights of the
Traunsee, including the town of Gmunden, the
Attersee and the Mondsee, home of the church
featured in the wedding scene of ‘The Sound of
Music’. The picturesque town of Mondsee
offers a variety of shops and cafés.
Half
Day: Bad Ischl & Hallstatt There
are many beautiful lakeside villages in the region, but
none quite as perfect as Hallstatt! The village occupies
a wonderfully dramatic position on the western shores of
the Hallstättersee. We also visit Austria’s oldest spa town
of Bad Ischl, home of the opulent Kaiservilla, built by
Emperor Franz-Josef I as a summer hunting lodge.
