Nuremberg’s Christmas
market or ‘Christ Child market’ (Christkindlmarkt) is probably
the most famous, attracting two million visitors every year.
Enter the world of ‘zauber’, as the Germans call it, pure
magic and enchantment! Nearly 200 stalls ply all kinds of
wares, from Christmas decorations, craft items, candles, gifts
and of course, glühwein, gingerbread and the famous Nuremberg
Rostbratwurste, grilled sausages!

Markets Nuremberg - Itinerary
DAY 1: Fly from
London Stansted to Nuremberg, where you’ll be met and transferred
to your hotel in Nuremberg.
DAYS 2 & 3: On the
morning of Day 2, a local representative will meet you after
breakfast at your hotel and take you into the city by public
transport for an orientation walk in the town so that you
can get your bearings. Stroll down to the centre of the
Old Town, the Altstadt, to the main Market Square, enjoying
the brightly decorated stalls. The aroma of gingerbread,
sweet roasted almonds, traditional local sausages and mulled
wine might tempt you, as you explore the booths laden with
rich, traditional handicrafts, trinkets and presents. 2xB

Time at leisure before your return
transfer to Nuremberg airport. B

Your Hotel
You’ll stay for three nights
