DAY 1:
UK to N. Fancer To Northern
France for dinner and our first
night stay. (D)
DAY 7:
Alf to N. France Travelling
northwards we call at Ypres, with its poignant Menin Gate,
before continuing to France for dinner and our final overnight
stay. (B,D)
DAY 2: N. France to
Alf Crossing the Bergian Ardennes we enter
Germany and enjoy a lunchtime visit to Cochem. From here
it is only a short drive to
our hotel in Alf. (B,D)
DAY 8: N. France to
UK From Calais
to Dover and home. (B)
DAYS 3 to 6: Alf At leisure
in Alf with three superb included excursions, travelling
by road, rail and water. There will also be a range of optional
excursions available to give you the chance to experience

Day: Trier Founded
by the Romans in 16 BC, Germany’s oldest town boasts
an impressive collection of Roman monuments - don’t
miss the spectacular Black Gate or ‘Porta Nigra’.
Our local guide will be on hand to offer an optional walking
tour. The town is also pleasant for a relaxing stroll around
the shops or a drink in a pavement café.

Day: Hidden Moselle & Panoramic Train Discover the delights of
the ‘hidden’ villages of the Moselle as we visit
the sleepy village of Beilstein before taking a panoramic
train ride through the vineyards to Traben-Trarbach, enjoying
wonderful views of the Moselle Valley all the way.
Half
Day: Moselle Cruise From our resort village
of Alf we enjoy a relaxing cruise on Moselle, truly the
best way to take in the landscapes of vineyards, meadows
and pretty riverside villages.
